Susan Gidel
Susan Gidel specializes in financial astrological research, publishing and consulting, building on 35 years in the commodity futures business as a journalist, brokerage firm marketing executive and market observer.
Based in Chicago, she has lectured at: UAC 2018; ISAR 2022; ISAR Star Club; the NCGR Virtual Symposium 2021; NCGR chapters in Chicago, Milwaukee and Dallas; the San Diego Astrological Society; and Friends of Astrology. She has served as “Business Astrologist” at national tradeshows for financial advisors and pension managers under the sponsorship of Northern Trust Asset Management of Chicago.
Susan has been a guest on several podcasts, including Cosmic Compass, Moon Matters, B2B No Bull, Weird Finance and BiggerPockets Money. She also has been featured in articles at The Wall Street Journal, The Cut, Allure Magazine and Redfin. She is a member of the International Academy of Astrology Class of 2014.
In 2018, Susan published “Trading In Sync With Commodities—Introducing Astrology To Your Technical Toolbox,” which is available at amazon.com. Her newsletter, “Red Letter Trading Days,” alerts investors to important astrological energy. As Pluto settles into Aquarius, she plans on introducing a new book: “Everyday Astrology for Career, Business and Investing.”
