APRIL
2007 to MAY 2008
Your current year
begins with you continuing to resolve long-standing
tensions around your home. The problems you face
here may be having a taxing effect on your work
in the world-at-large, thus there are some career
matters you may feel the need to settle, having
neglected looking at these for a time. The good
news is that beginning in September 2007 with
Saturn’s entry in Virgo, most of the transiting
outer planets will be in favorable aspect to your
Taurus Sun. By December 2007, your attitude should
improve even more as Jupiter (and Pluto) move
into Capricorn. With Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto
transiting in Earth signs for the remainder of
your birthday year, many of the personal projects
that have stalled on you over the last two years
will finally be ready to launch!
Transiting Pluto
is in the final degrees of its transit of Sagittarius
where it has been since 1995. During this time
Pluto has not been making a major aspect to your
natal Sun in Taurus, yet you have most likely
experienced many deep emotional changes and “little
deaths” in your life. Some of these stemmed
from joint financial issues like investments and
legacies, or simply changes in your partner’s
holdings. You also may have decided to eliminate
as much of your debt as possible to free yourself
from growing interest rates, or you may have done
some refinancing. Whatever the case, you are a
much more powerful and resourceful person with
the exit of Pluto from Sagittarius.
On January 26, 2008,
transit Pluto will enter Capricorn where it will
form a trine aspect with your natal Sun –
an aspect that will linger into the next decade.
Some time within this long transit, all you Taureans
will need to deepen your understanding of the
world through mentally expansive pursuits like
travel and higher mind studies. Your life will
be changed for the better by questioning some
of your cherished opinions and exposing yourself
to how others conceive of the world.
Transit Neptune in
Aquarius has been affecting how you approach career
matters and other goals involving your public
image. Since Neptune is in a square aspect with
your Sun in Taurus, you have had to make sure
that your intentions are realistic and based on
sound reasoning. With Neptune involved there are
certain aspects of your career which may have
lost their allure for you, leading to feelings
of dissatisfaction and a need for change.
Don’t let
an overly idealistic attitude on such issues cause
you to gloss over errors that can upset you later.
While you may be inspired to assist those who
are disadvantaged in some way, you need to carefully
scrutinize the motives of those who you would
like to help. But other than these issues, you
now have the capacity now to effectively manifest
your dreams for the benefit of all.
The nature of your
friendships and the direction of major group associations
are undergoing definite changes now as transit
Uranus in Pisces forms a helpful sextile to your
natal Sun. If you’ve been thinking about
getting more involved in a professional, political,
or community organizations, now is the time to
do it! While some old friends may be leaving your
life or radically transforming theirs, by becoming
a real participator in causes that get your juices
flowing you can encounter some remarkable people
along the way. Stimulating changes and opportunities
through new alliances are the hallmarks of this
transit.
During this forecast
year, transit Saturn in Leo is still pressuring
you and piling on domestic responsibilities. Since
transit Saturn is forming a stressful square to
your Taurus Sun, you have been either feeling
frustrated with specific elements of home and/or
people in your family circle, or you have been
taking on extra tasks to ensure that things keep
running as solidly as you like. The key to handling
these problem areas is to work with a plan --
have patience and take things one step at a time.
You should begin to resolve any restrictions facing
you in this regard starting September 2, when
transit Saturn begins its two-year stay in Virgo
– where it forms a beautiful trine aspect
with your natal Sun. This placement of Saturn
will help you to seek and find more of what you
truly enjoy in life, and this could definitely
mean becoming involved with a new, yet serious
and stable, romantic partner!
Transiting Jupiter
will be in Sagittarius for the majority of your
forecast year. While in this sign it will make
no major aspect to your Taurus Sun, yet the expansive
energies of this planet will make themselves felt
in your financial life, especially in the area
of shared resources. If you’ve handled this
area properly in the past, then some benefit will
come now through gifts of money, loans, tax breaks,
and similar things of this nature. Or it just
may so happen that your partner receives a windfall
that in turn improves your life! Yet, since the
nature of Jupiter can be excessive, if you’ve
had problems with over spending, or giving too
much of your power away in these matters, then
you will want to mitigate any significant further
losses through better foresight and planning.
On December 18, transit
Jupiter will enter Capricorn, and form yet another
trine aspect with your natal Sun in Taurus! This
begins a 12-month period where you are likely
to find major opportunities involving travel,
philosophical or religious studies, and other
higher-mind pursuits. For more business minded
Taureans, transiting Jupiter in Capricorn will
be an excellent impetus for you to expand your
professional interests through increased promotions
and advertising. But overall, it will be your
positive attitude that makes new doors open and
increases your sense of the possible.
You begin your birthday
year with transit Mercury in Taurus from April
27 through May 10. This transit enables you to
clearly define your goals for the upcoming year
and helps you to express who you are to the world
with confidence and mental clarity. The entire
time Mercury transits Taurus, transit Mars in
Pisces will also form a helpful sextile aspect
with your natal Sun. Transit Mars will be in Pisces
from April 6 to May 14. This placement of Mars
will give you an extra stimulus to follow through
on the tasks you must accomplish now. Additionally,
your energetic participation in a group or community
effort can bring some satisfying results.
Transit Venus enters
Cancer on May 8th and will be forming a helpful
sextile aspect you’re your natal Sun through
June 5. This transit, along with transit Mercury
in Cancer (May 29 through August 3), is signal
for you to create a better, calmer atmosphere
in your immediate environment; close communication
with family, especially your siblings, is also
of greater importance to you this spring.
Two important events
for you Taurus natives will occur in June. First,
transit Mercury in Cancer will be retrograde between
June 15 and July 9, so despite your best efforts,
misunderstandings can arise between you and your
nearest and dearest. Also, as you know, during
a Mercury-Retrograde period you should avoid written
agreements and buying products for your home or
car. A focus on repair and re-organization is
a better way of directing your efforts for now.
In addition to the Mercury-Retrograde period,
on June 25 transit Saturn in Leo will oppose Neptune
in Aquarius for the last time; this planetary
opposition has severely affected your domestic
and professional situations over the past two
years, and perhaps you have been battling feelings
of futility or even depression because of events
that have taken place. With Saturn retrograde
between June and August you will be actively resolving
these tensions rather than feeling like they are
unshakable burdens. By September 2007 these problems
will begin to fade, but not without some re-direction
of effort on your part! This Saturn-Retrograde
period will be especially significant for you
Taureans born between May 16 and May 20.
The summer of this
forecast year is the most challenging period for
you from several angles. In June, transit Venus
enters Leo and forms a difficult square with your
natal Sun, and is joining transit Saturn already
in that sign. Once again your attention is on
home concerns -- possibly entertaining others
and looking at it in terms of its overall suitability
or attractiveness -- and attempting to make these
surroundings somehow match your inner ideal. You
may even consider changing residences, or begin
doing so. This issue reaches a critical point
on July 29 when transit Venus triggers the exact
Saturn-Neptune opposition. Now you will have to
resolve any dissatisfaction arising with people
or events within your family or home, without
blowing your top!
Watching your temper
is a definite need now, because between June 25
and August 6 transit Mars will be in Taurus conjoining
your Sun. The need for an outlet for all this
energy is a necessity -- and you will need to
have a constructive project to keep you grounded
and productive. The period between July 24 and
August 1 will be most crucial for you in this
respect, for an exact T-Square will form involving
transit Saturn and transit Neptune -- with your
natal Sun and transit Mars as the handle! Solid,
practical action can correct and balance whatever
else isn’t working properly. You Taurus
natives with birthdays between May 11 and May
16 will be most prone to crisis during this time.
On July 27th transit
Venus stations Retrograde in Virgo in trine aspect
with your Taurus Sun. This planetary support does
not last long however -- on August 8 transit Venus
will retrograde back into Leo, once more making
a hard square to your Sun and conjoining Saturn
in the very last degrees of Leo. This will signal
the completion of a long standing, problematic
issue you will need to correct with your home
or with your family. As Venus is retrograde now
you may have to refrain from investing any more
time, money, or other valuable resources in a
situation or project that is at a “standstill.”
Use the practical discrimination of Mercury in
Virgo (in sextile aspect with your natal Sun between
August 19 and September 5) to help you clarify
what you should or shouldn’t do at this
time. Wait until Venus stations direct on September
7 to make any final decisions on the how to use
what you have.
By September the
tide begins to turn for you, slowly at first and
finally building up more steam by the end of December.
That’s not to say there won’t be a
few little bumps along the way however! Until
Venus enters Virgo on October 8, you will be focusing
on domestic matters, and perhaps some special
event or big party you are hosting now. Transit
Mars in Cancer (beginning September 28) lends
support to anything you want to do now, and will
give you the urge to accomplish all the little
tasks necessary in support of larger endeavors.
In mid-October transit Mercury will turn retrograde
in Scorpio in opposition to your natal Sun. Aim
for more mutual understanding and tolerance with
partners, especially between October 11 and October
22 when Mercury slides back into Libra. Transit
Mercury will Station-Direct on November 1, and
by the time Mercury returns to Scorpio on November
11 a partner or other close associate may be demanding
more ffrom you in the way of communication and
clarification mutual goals. Suppressed anger and
aggression cam simply seem to aggravate any existing
problems once Mars begins its long retrograde
movement (November 15, 2007 through January 31,
2008)! You absolutely must avoid losing your temper
or patience while driving during this Mars retrograde
period, and also avoid riding with those who tend
to be reckless.
As 2007 comes to
close, you Taureans will have some wonderful transits
in your favor. Although Venus’s transit
of Scorpio in opposition to your Taurus Sun can
bring out some disappointments in your relationships
to others, you will have much more in the way
of help by transits that you might not notice.
Joining transit Saturn in Virgo will be transit
Jupiter in Capricorn on December 18 -- then followed
by the Sun and Mercury in Capricorn on December
22. Together these Virgo and Capricorn transits
will create wonderful Grand Trine with your natal
Taurus Sun! Your attitude about life begins to
lift tremendously, as you finally feel the pressures
of the last two years begin to lessen! This Grand
Trine energy will make it easy for you to accept
invitations for travel during the holiday season,
promote a real sense of spiritual reverence, as
well as enjoying good times with your children
and other young people.
Note that during
the peak of the holiday season -- December 18
to December 29 -- a very rare pattern will form
in transit to your Sun in Taurus; a Grand Trine
in Water (transiting Venus, Mars and Uranus) combines
a Grand Trine in Earth to create an extremely
auspicious Grand Sextile configuration! Write
down a few resolutions would like to see occur
over the next year for yourself and others --
for this ‘Star of David’ planetary
pattern is one of manifestation!
As you enter 2008,
the power of communication and persuasion within
your career and other public matters is frustrated
by the transit of Mercury in Aquarius –
in square aspect with your natal Sun. Do not become
overwhelmed by minutia now, but communicate to
those in your business life as clearly as you
can -- especially as Mercury turns Retrograde
on January 28. Your natal Sun is still in a Grand
Trine with transit Jupiter in Capricorn and transit
Saturn in Virgo, giving momentum to your creative
process. This configuration is made even more
powerful by the transit of Venus in Capricorn
between January 24 and February 16. Pluto also
enters Capricorn on January 26th, signifying the
start of a long cycle which should deeply impact
the broadening of your intellect through new studies
and an increasing desire for travel.
Late into February
you will still be putting extra effort into improving
your professional image and making your ideas
matter in the public arena. You will be very focused
on such matters between February 18 and March
12, as transit Venus move through Aquarius. New
communication moves forward again for you on February
19 as Mercury Stations Direct. The months of March
and April are the BEST months of your entire forecast
year. First you will have transit Mars (now moving
direct in Cancer) in trine aspect with your natal
Sun, accenting flowing activity and travel within
your immediate environment. Transit Mars in Cancer
focuses energy into a dynamic Kite pattern which
literally elevates you Grand Trine in Earth into
high activity! The focus of this energy emphasizes
the transits of Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn
as the “tail” of the Kite. This focus
allows you to take your personal perspectives
and balance them with the new information and
knowledge you are learning from your travels or
wider studies. The net result will be that if
you do this well, you will be rewarded with great
mental and creative growth.
But wait! By March
15 transit Mercury and Venus both enter Pisces
which now creates a SECOND Kite pattern emphasizing
creative momentum! This time the energy is focused
on a more social activity involving groups and
friends. Your practical, creative talents –
as well as your loving service to others -- are
what will draw the positive support of friends
and allies now. This Kite dissipates by April
5 -- but the former Kite involving Mars will extend
into your next forecast year! As you can see much
of the tribulation of the last two years has finally
given way to transits of opportunity for Taureans.
The best news is that these conditions favoring
your growth -- and your success will extend well
into 2009!
