NOVEMBER 2006 to DECEMBER 2007

It could feel that something or someone is pressuring you to make major changes in the way you express yourself -- and the initial stages of the process do not feel comfortable at all. Neptune in Aquarius transits in a sextile aspect with your Sun in Sagittarius; this will especially affect those born between December 9th and December 14th. This transit has a supportive and inspirational influence on your mind. You may want to begin a course of study leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate which you can then use to establish yourself on firmer ground in your career. Travel may also be on your agenda, perhaps to someplace that would enable you to broaden your knowledge of an exotic or ancient culture. In any case, take action on the matters mentioned above before September 2, 2007 when Saturn enters the sign of Virgo.

This is the year to really get out and enjoy your life! You will find you have much to share with people -- your talents, wisdom and other resources of which you have so much. But there is a cau¬tion -- you must avoid is over-doing things and spreading yourself too thin. With transit Jupiter conjunction your natal Sun you may do and spend too much! You also have to watch your weight -- this “good life” can be expensive and fattening!

Overall, your upcoming forecast year should be an exciting and adventurous one for you Sagittarians -- and as your year begins you hit the ground running! As your year begins Venus is in your sign of Sagittarius, and you almost certainly will want to add a new outfit to your wardrobe or update your appearance with something flattering and stylish for the approaching holidays. A few days after Venus enters Sagittarius, on November 23rd, Jupiter also slides into this sign for a twelve month stay, making this a very special and happy Thanksgiving indeed!

Between December 5th and January 15th, transit Mars will also be in your home sign of Sagittarius, emphasizing the more physical and athletic side of your nature – and enabling you to work off the calories you consumed during your Thanksgiving family feast! Mars can lift you up and get you moving with energy to burn, just take care not to let your strong minded opinions get you into debates that turn argumentative, as Mercury joins Mars in Sagittarius between December 8th and December 26th.

On January 3rd, Venus enters the sign of Aquarius, where she is joined by transit Mercury on January 15th. In Aquarius both Venus and Mercury make lovely sextile aspects with your natal Sun. These transits add a lively social energy to the post-holiday season which can help you cope with winter doldrums. With this transiting energy you may want to spend some time extending the connections you enjoyed with friends, family, and others over the holidays.

Things may become a lot more hectic around your home in late January and into February as the planets begin to line up in Pisces in stressful square aspects with your natal Sun. Remember that transiting Uranus already in Pisces and bringing you changes on the home front – and you can expect even more change as Venus transits Pisces between January 27th and February 20th. Add to this transit Mercury on February 2nd and then the Sun on February 18th. Note that when Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces on February 13th, it will station very close to Uranus, and you need to be on the alert for the erratic functioning of equipment and other necessary items you need to keep your home running efficiently.

Matters will begin to improve somewhat toward the end of February as the inner planets begin to transit signs more congenial to your Sun. Creative activity begins to move along at good speed when Venus enters Aries on February 21st. This Venus in Aries now forms a Grand Trine in Fire signs involving your natal Sun along with transit Jupiter and Pluto in Sagittarius, and transit Saturn in Leo. This wonderful planetary energy will last until Venus leaves Aries on March 15th. Use this time to improve your relationships with your children and work on developing your higher mind. This is in reality a more powerful Kite pattern when you include transit Neptune in Aquarius, which is joined by transit Mars between February 25th and April 5th. This will focus your attention on educational issues and travel, which will be extremely favorable for you! Remember, too, that Mercury turns direct in Aquarius on March 7th, enabling you to find solutions and outcomes to the knotty issues you faced in and around your home beginning in late February.

Transit Jupiter in Sagittarius begins its retrograde motion on April 5th so the feelings of expansiveness you have experienced since your birthday will begin to tone down between now and August 6th when Jupiter turns direct. Use this period to work with what is already on your plate, at least in terms of new chances for growth and advancement. Transit Saturn in Leo will turn direct on April 19th, and following this date your business affairs will advance smoothly.
Transit Mars will enter Pisces on April 6th where it will form a difficult square aspect with your natal Sun. This, too, will focus attention on changes within your home. Also, beginning April 11th transit Venus will be in Gemini, forming a stressful opposition aspect with your natal Sun. This combination will make this an extremely difficult month for you, and you will need to take into consideration the opinions of partners and learn how to solve problems cooperatively. This Mutable T-Square configuration involving your natal Sun and transiting Venus and Mars, is likely to keep you tense well into mid-spring. Finally on May 16th transit Mars moves into Aries where it trines your Sun, relieving the stress and helping you to feel capable tackling new jobs.

The remainder of the spring season looks harmonious for you as once again your Sagittarian Sun is in a Grand Trine configuration. This time you have transit Venus in Leo completing the trine Mars in Aries already makes to your Sun. This Grand Trine will add to the confidence and energy you Sagittarians are already famous for, so you can look forward to an especially warm and dynamic early summer! And even after Mars leaves Aries on June 23rd, you can at least enjoy the lavish social benefits of Venus in Leo until July 14th, when Venus enters the sign Virgo.

The months of June and July 2007 feature retrogrades of the important personal planets: First, transit Mercury retrogrades in Cancer; while it may make no major aspect with your natal Sun, nevertheless it is registering its effect through the money of your spouse, or monies owed to you by any client or business partner. You will need to pay some extra attention so as not to lose important insurance and tax documents.

Also in July, Venus will retrograde in Virgo on July 27th in a challenging square aspect with your natal Sun. While this may briefly create some re-evaluation of career goals for you, by August 8th Venus will transit backward in to Leo where it stays until resuming its direct motion on September 7th. Retrograde Venus in Leo could find you reconnecting with old friends and lost lovers, especially within the context of travel.

You will want to take your summer vacation before your natal Sun gets hit by another T-Square, this time involving an opposition from transiting Mars in Gemini between August 7th and September 7th, and transiting Mercury in Virgo in square aspect with your Sun between August 19th and September 4th. This late summer period can be characterized as a time when you will be challenged by others to use your skills and knowledge as accurately as possible within your career. Try to balance your heavy work load with the demands of your partners. This particular T-Square is a prelude to what you can expect over the next two years as Saturn transits Virgo. This major Saturn transit will begin on September 2nd, 2007. For you this transit means business, and with Saturn in Virgo you can reach a career peak and well-deserved recognition if you work hard.

Soon after Saturn enters Virgo, it is joined by transit Venus in Virgo between October 8th and November 7th. This transit will give you a chance to better utilize your practical skills to help improve your business and/or career. Transit Mercury will turn retrograde in Scorpio on October 11th and while this does not make a major aspect with your natal Sun, by the time Mercury moves back into Libra on October 23rd -- in sextile to your Sun -- you are rethinking future goals and hearing from friends you haven’t seen in a while.

Your forecast year closes on a pleasant note, as Mercury resumes its direct motion on November 1st and Venus enters Libra on November 8th. This combination of planetary energy will help you build more peaceful relationships in support of whatever goals you wish to achieve. You still have your ruler Jupiter helping you close 2007 on a happy note -- however, with Saturn now creating career challenges, you will have much work ahead in 2008!
